The Output (Drill Data) dialog allows you to export drill data from a design as .fdl and .fdr files. This data is used by the CAM software in the manufacturing process for the board.
When you generate a drill table from a PCB design,
any text on the relevant drill drawing layer is deleted, regardless of
whether it is inside or outside the board area.

| Import parameters | Allows you to load the parameters which are exported from this
dialog by clicking Export parameters.
Browse to the required .drill file
in the displayed Open dialog.
Note When loading a file that was exported by another eCADSTAR user, ensure that the same drive letters are used in the Output folder and NCF File boxes, in the Basic Settings Tab. |

| Export parameters | Exports the parameters that you specify in this dialog as a .drill file. Specify the name of the file in the displayed Save As dialog. | |
| Unit | Click the unit drop-down in the upper-right of the Output (Drill Data) dialog to specify the required units. | |
| mm | Values in this dialog are displayed in millimeters. | |
| inch | Values in this dialog are displayed in inches. | |
| mil | Values in this dialog are displayed in mils. | |
| micron | Values in this dialog are displayed in microns. | |
| Basic Settings Tab | Allows you to specify the folder that the drill data is exported to, and the NCF file that is referenced. You can also select the sort mode for toolpath sorting, and specify whether a drill process is exported. | |
| Drill Process Settings Tab | Allows you to configure the drill process settings that are exported. | |
| Options | Displays the Options dialog. This dialog allows you to specify that error files and warning files are created when the drill data is exported. It also allows you to set the location of these files. | |
| Execute | Exports the drill data from the design as .fdl and .fdr files. These files are exported to the folder that you specify in the Basic Settings Tab, Output folder. The Output (Drill Data) dialog remains open. | |
| Exit | Closes the Output (Drill Data) dialog without exporting drill data from the design. |
