Delete Testpoint Attribute

This command allows you to delete a testpoint attribute (only available in 2D View mode). Launch this command by clicking Net / Route> Testpoint > Testpoint Testpoint split menu > Add Testpoint Attribute Add Testpoint Attribute on the ribbon in eCADSTAR PCB Editor.

Select mode

Value Description
Normal On the canvas, select an object for which to delete a testpoint attribute. Select multiple objects using the Ctrl key.
Net On the canvas, select a net for which to delete a testpoint attribute. Alternatively, click and select a net in the displayed Net dialog (multiple nets can be selected using the Ctrl or Shift keys).
Component If selected, the Around component button is made available. On the canvas, select a component for which to delete a testpoint attribute. Select multiple components using the Ctrl key.
Unconnected pin On the canvas, select an unconnected pin for which to delete a testpoint attribute. Alternatively, click and select an unconnected pin in the Unconnected pin dialog (multiple items can be selected using the Ctrl or Shift keys).

Around component

Value Description
ON If Selection mode is set to Component, a testpoint is removed from an area in the vicinity of the component.
OFF If Selection mode is set to Component, a testpoint is removed from within the component.

Testpoint side

Value Description
Side A Testpoint attributes on side A are deleted.
Side B Testpoint attributes on side B are deleted.
Both Testpoint attributes on both side A and side B are deleted.

Highlight nets requiring a testpoint

Value Description
ON Nets are highlighted where the number of testpoints generated for the net is less than the number of required testpoints.
OFF Nets are not highlighted where the number of testpoints generated for the net is less than the number of required testpoints.
Value Description
Apply Testpoints attributes are deleted. The Delete Testpoint Attribute dialog remains open.
Exit Closes the Delete Testpoint Attribute dialog without deleting testpoint attributes.
