Auto Delete Testpoint
The Auto Delete command
allows you to delete testpoints that are generated using the Auto
Generate or Input Testpoint
commands. It is launched by clicking
split menu
on the ribbon in eCADSTAR PCB Editor.
The Auto Delete Testpoint dialog is
displayed. This command is only available in 2D
View mode.
Command dialog

Normal

On the canvas, select a testpoint that you want to delete.
Select multiple testpoints using the Ctrl
key. All selected testpoints are deleted when you click Execute in the Auto
Delete Testpoint dialog. |
Net
|
On the canvas, select a net with at least one testpoint. Alternatively,
click and select a net in the displayed Net dialog (multiple nets
can be selected). All testpoints on the selected net are deleted
when you click Execute in the Auto Delete Testpoint dialog. |
Component
|
If selected, the Around component
button is made available. On the canvas, select a component with
at least one testpoint. All testpoints on the selected component
are deleted when you click Execute
in the Auto Delete Testpoint dialog. |
Unconnected pin
|
On the canvas, select an unconnected pin with at least one
testpoint. Alternatively, click and select
an unconnected pin in the Unconnected
pin dialog (multiple unconnected pins can be selected).
All testpoints associated with the unconnected pin are deleted
when you click Execute in the Auto Delete Testpoint dialog. If
a single testpoint is located at the end of a track, then the
track is also deleted. |

- If Net
is selected in the Select mode
box, then the Net dialog is displayed when you click
this button. This dialog allows you to select a net. Select
multiple nets using the Ctrl
or Shift keys.
- If Unconnected
pin is selected in
the Select mode box, then the
Unconnected pin dialog is displayed when you click this button. This
dialog allows you to select an unconnected pin. Select multiple unconnected
pins using the Ctrl or Shift keys.

Highlight nets requiring
