Chamfer
The Chamfer command
allows you to chamfer the corners of an object. It is executed by clicking
on the eCADSTAR PCB Editor
ribbon.
Command dialog
Maximum cut
Value |
Description |
Real number greater than 0. |
For the vertex to be chamfered, specify the distance from the
vertex to the start of the chamfer. |
Minimum cut
Value | Description |

Real number equal to or greater than 0. | If the distance from the vertex to be chamfered is equal to
or smaller than the specified value, then the Chamfer
command is not executed. |
Thermal relief
Value | | Description |
---|
ON | | In the same net as the area to be generated: the subtract process
is executed on pins, vias and padstacks in components. This generates
thermal lines. |
OFF | | In the same net as the area to be generated: the subtract process
is not executed on pins, vias or padstacks in components. |
| Settings | Displays the Design Settings dialog.
This dialog allows you to set the thermal
relief values which are shared between multiple commands. |

Apply | The corners of the object that you select on the canvas are
chamfered using the values specified in the Chamfer
dialog. The Chamfer dialog

without chamfering the corners of an object. |
