The active layer view is exported to the layer view resource in Footprint Editor. The layer view contains all information that can be set in Layer View in the Layer Settings panel. The following information is output to the layer view resource:
- Canvas display order of each layer.
- Reference to layer.
- Whether the layer is selectable.
- Layer view styles (including color, transparency, hatch pitch, hatch angle, tone, style in 3D view and transparency in 3D view).
- On the ribbon, click
Design > Export >
Layer View. The file selector is displayed. - Using the file selector, select a folder to export the layer view to. Enter the file name and click Save. By default, the file name is layerview.xml (the file can be exported with any name). The layer view is exported to the specified file.
