Adding or Excluding Members of a Net Class

The following procedures describe how to add and exclude members of a net class in Constraint Browser.

• In eCADSTAR PCB Editor, launch Constraint Browser by clicking Design > Design Rules > Constraint Browser or Home > Design Rules > Constraint Browser on the ribbon.
• In eCADSTAR Schematic Editor, launch Constraint Browser by clicking Design > Browser > Constraint or Home > Browser > Constraint on the ribbon.

Adding a Member of a Net Class

1. In Constraint Browser, click Edit > Net Class Manager. The Net Class Manager dialog is displayed.
2. Create a new net class by selecting a net in the Selection list to create/edit box, and clicking Create by the Create Net Class box. The new net class is moved to the Existing Net Classes box.
3. In the Selection list to create/edit box, select a net to add to the net class. The Add to Net Class button becomes available.
4. Click the newly-created net class in the Existing Net Classes box, and click Add to Net Class. The net is added to the selected net class.

Excluding a Member of a Net Class

1. In the Existing Net Classes box, click a net class. Its members are displayed in the Member list box.
2. In the Member list box, right-click a net and select Remove from Net Class on the assist menu. The net is removed from the selected net class.
3. In the Net Class Manager dialog, click Close to close the dialog.
