Create Multiple Pin Pairs
Pin pairs can be created in Constraint Browser by selecting signals in the Signals tree, and clicking Create Multiple Pin Pairs on the ribbon or clicking Edit > Create Multiple Pin Pairs. Alternatively, right-click selected signals in the Signals box and select Create Multiple Pin Pairs on the assist menu. You can configure and preview new pin pairs in the displayed Create Multiple Pin Pairs dialog. This dialog is not available in Constraint Viewer.
- In Constraint Browser for eCADSTAR Schematic Editor, signals may include E-Nets and differential pairs.
- In Constraint Browser for eCADSTAR PCB Editor, signals may include E-Nets, differential pairs and busses.
The details of the pin pairs that you create are shown in the Pin Pair Routing Report dialog. However, the following limitations apply:
- You cannot specify a topology for pin pairs in a non High Speed environment.
- The Track Width Stack constraint that you specify for a pin pair in Constraint Browser is not adhered to by the Add Route or Autoroute commands. This is specified in the Routing Tab, in the Signals Section, Signals tab in Constraint Browser.
