The Global Symbol for Ground Nets dialog allows you to configure the global symbols for ground nets, when you back annotate into eCADSTAR Schematic Editor. For components that are added into eCADSTAR Schematic Editor, specify the symbol name and symbol alternate for ground nets that are connected to the components pins.

| Name | For ground nets that are connected to the pins of added components, specify the symbol name of the global connector that is used. The value that you specify must match a symbol that is displayed in the eCADSTAR Library Editor, Symbols tab. |
| Alternate | For ground nets that are connected to the pins of added components, specify the symbol alternate of the global connector that is used. The value that you specify must match the value in the Symbol Alternate column, in the eCADSTAR Library Editor, Symbols tab, for the symbol name that you specify. |
| Save | Saves the values that you specify in the Global Symbol for Ground Nets dialog, and closes the dialog. The symbol name and symbol alternate of the global connector is displayed in the Global Symbol for Ground Nets box, in the Back Annotation dialog (the symbol alternate is shown in brackets). |
| Cancel | Closes the Global Symbol for Ground Nets dialog without saving your changes. |
