Add Area Fill
The Add Area Fill command allows you to fill an enclosed area on the canvas in eCADSTAR Schematic Editor or Symbol Editor. Toggle on this command by clicking Draw > Shape > Area Fill on the ribbon. Specify the color and fill style in the Add Area Fill dialog, and then click inside an enclosed area to fill it. The dialog remains displayed. You can fill other enclosed areas by clicking them on the canvas. Alternatively, execute this command after selecting an enclosed area. Click inside the selected area to fill it.
- Toggle off this command by clicking it on the ribbon, pressing Esc on the keyboard or clicking Cancel on the assist menu.
- To select multiple objects, hold the Ctrl key, and then click Selection End on the assist menu or double-click.

ON | If selected, then the Color box is made available. Select the color of the enclosed area. | |
OFF | If selected, then the enclosed area is filled using the color specified in the Template Area Settings dialog, Display tab. The Color box is made unavailable. | |
Color box | Click the Color box to select a color in the Select color dialog. | |
Fill Style | Specify the fill type for the enclosed area. | |
None | Displays only the outline of the enclosed area. | |
Solid | Fills the enclosed area using a solid color. This is selected by default. |
