For an object that you select on the canvas in eCADSTAR Schematic Editor or Symbol Editor, the Move To Grid command aligns its origin to the nearest grid point. For multiple objects that are added to the canvas with Snap Grid toggled off, this command allows you to align them simultaneously to the grid. Toggle the Move To Grid command by selecting an object on the canvas, and then clicking Home > Move > Move to Grid on the ribbon. Alternatively, click Home > Move > Move to Grid on the ribbon, and then select an object on the canvas. To move multiple objects, hold the Ctrl key, select them and click Selection End on the assist menu or double-click.
- You can toggle off this command by pressing Esc on the keyboard or clicking Cancel on the assist menu.
Objects are aligned regardless of whether the grid is displayed on the canvas.
