Chamfer

The Chamfer command allows you to chamfer the corners of an object in Footprint Editor. It is executed by clicking Shape > Reshape > Chamfer on the Footprint Editor ribbon. This command  is only available in 2D View mode.

Maximum cut

Value Description
Real number greater than 0. For the vertex to be chamfered, specify the distance from the vertex to the start of the chamfer.

Minimum cut

Value Description
Real number equal to or greater than 0. If the distance from the vertex to be chamfered is equal to or smaller than the specified value, then the Chamfer command is not executed.

 

Value Description
Apply The corners of the object that you select on the canvas are chamfered using the values specified in the Chamfer dialog. The Chamfer dialog remains open.
Exit Closes the Chamfer dialog without chamfering the corners of the selected object.
