Zooming and Panning the Canvas in Electrical Editor

The following procedures describe how to zoom and pan the canvas in Electrical Editor.

Using the Menu

Item	Description
Zoom In/Out	In the main menu, click View > Zoom in to zoom in the canvas. In the main menu, click View > Zoom Out to zoom out the canvas.

Using the Mouse Wheel

Item	Description
Zoom In/Out	While holding down the Ctrl key, rotate the wheel forwards to zoom in. While holding down the Ctrl key, rotate the wheel backwards to zoom out.
Pan Up/Down	Rotate the wheel backwards to move the view position up. Rotate the wheel forwards to move view position down.
Pan Right/Left	While holding down the Shift key, rotate the wheel forwards to move the view position to the right. While holding down the Shift key, rotate the wheel backwards to move the view position to the left.

Using the keyboard

Item	Description
Zoom In/Out	Use the + key to zoom in. Use the - key to zoom out.
Pan	The ↑ (up-arrow) key moves the view position up. The ↓ (down-arrow) key moves the view position down. The ← (left-arrow) key moves the view position to the left. The → (right-arrow) key moves the view position to the right.
